ABOUT THE PATTERN
GLEAM is a minimalistic pattern inspired by the random nature of reflected light in a space. Each shape is hand-painted with a heavy-bodied pigment, giving the illusion that it exists on a separate plane. The texture allows the light to hit these areas differently than it does the richly pigmented matte background.
The hand painted patterns are individually made, panel by panel – never mass produced. Through the process of aesthetic judgments made by our highly trained team of studio artists, each composition is artistically produced – never created with stencils, digital printing, copying imagery or any manufactured techniques. While each panel varies slightly, Porter Teleo’s mindful and meticulous process allows for continuity within the design. The patterns enliven the best interiors with a bold, distinctive color palette and a refined aesthetic.
